Late Georgian iron grip hanger/cutlass

Description

A Georgian hanger possibly a private purchase for infantry or navy looks similar to the later 1896 British Indian Army mountain Artillery sword.
Brass stirrup hilt with black iron ribbed hilt. A lovely heavy blade with single fuller 680mms in length in very good condition. No washer and hilt moves a bit No markings can be found on hilt or blade.
Black Leather scabbard with brass fittings in reasonable condition.
A very nice interesting unusual sword in good used condition for age - see photographs.
