A proper antique three pedestal dining table from the 1800s. We have not had one of these for a long time as most that are available are modernish reproduction, not this one though.
Having been through our workshops for some minor attention and a French polishing it is now looking good and is ready to entertain. This one has lovely colour and a good graining. A rather special feature is the contrasting cross banding running around the edge.
The table has three pedestals as already stated but can be used with just two if required. The centre pedestal has a fixed top and there are two leaves which can again be removed if you did not want them in all the time.
This table came to us with a lot of wear through use over the years and as it was a reasonable purchase we are able to sell on at a really keen price for a proper original example at only £3,600. This table is a proper width too at 46ins, most examples being too narrow to fit anything other than a glass in the middle. Fully extended it is 123 ins long and the two leaves measure 16ins each. A table that will seat 12, and 10 with utmost ease. We have sets of chairs available to go with this table.
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
