Description

This rather appealing mahogany drop leaf occasional table with the stretcher inlaid base dates back to the first half of the 1800s. In lovely condition, after a brief visit to our workshops, this is ready to grace its new home. Could be a lamp table a bedside, sewing table of what ever use its new owner may wish to put it to. It has good graining and the attractive cross banding along the outer edge of the top. The castors are original it would seem and the legs which thay sit on have good splay shape with a string inlay down their length.
The table has two drawers with blind drawers on the oposite side. Handles are on each side of course. With the leaves down it is 16ins wide and with them up a useful 31ins.
