Looking a lot tattier than in fact they really are, these two walnut tub chairs on a cabriole leg from around 1900 offer a couple of good frames for restoration. Basically pretty good they do need a little attention to the wood work but not much. Top of a couple of the arms have had a bit of focus from a dog I suspect, but they will come up well. Upholstery needs attention of course but we will be happy to undertake restoration if required. The two chairs as they stand can be bought for a very modest £45 each.
We can arrange delivery to most parts for around £60 or they can of course be collected from our store rooms in Mobberley for free.
Frames will cost around £85 each to restore and polish, upholsterer will charge around £200 plus fabric, both plus vat.
But you can of course treat these as you own project. The upholstery is actually pretty good and if the top cover is removed we suspect one could use these with only the fabric being replaced.
