Description

This large blue glass vase from the Moser Glassworks in the current Czech Republic is a very good looking example. An impressive one by any standards. This Bohemian blue glass vase with the African theme, elephant and giraffe in gold relief together with trees/birds etc is one we have not seem before and we cannot find an other similar in our research with this detailing and in this size. The glass is undamaged, no chips and the relief is also good. A few age related scuffs but as stated no chips or cracks and the Moser mark on the base.
Moser factory started life in 1857 and did not produce blown glass for a number of years. In 1904 they received a royal warrant for the Austrian court and produced glass for many waelthy individuals including the English royals. This 20th Century example is one not to be missed.

We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
