A beautifully shaped 19th-century side table, finely inlaid with mother of pearl and crossbanded in amboyna and kingwood.

The table features exquisite brass ormolu mounts, including cherub masks to the knees, and stands gracefully on cabriole legs.

The shaped top is centred by a blank brass plaque within a decorative inlaid border, all set off by delicate mother of pearl inlay work.

It includes a single frieze drawer to the front.

This elegant piece displays superb design, likely of French origin, circa 1860 — a refined and decorative addition to any interior.
