An Antique George III mahogany kneehole desk, beautifully balanced and displaying the restrained elegance typical of late-18th-century Georgian craftsmanship. The desk features a warm, rich mahogany colour, a desirable green tooled leather inset top, a shaped apron, and a central cupboard flanked by banks of smoothly running drawers with origins decorative brass handles.The piece retains a wonderful presence, with a mellow patina developed over generations of use. The original bracket feet, refined proportions, and attractive grain give the desk strong visual appeal while preserving its practical function. A fine and authentic example that would enhance a study, hallway, or boutique interior, offering both storage and a charming working surface.
This original piece with original handles, feet and construction is a rare and increasingly hard-to-find feature on desks of this age.
