Description

A very good portrait of a country lady riding a bay horse with a spaniel at its feet. The painting is a well executed oil on canvas and looks to be early 20th century (probably 1920's or 1930's) and in its original frame.

The painting is unsigned and came from a large country house in Yorkshire. The writing on the back of the frame gives instruction of where the painting was to be hung within the house.
