Superb! - Very different, this pair of fully hallmarked, sterling silver, antique name place holders in the form of a wishbone are wonderful - heavy, quality items with a gross weight of 90g, they have certainly survived their 100plus years in excellent order. With an ebonised base diameter of 1.5" inch they stand c. 2.1/4" inch tall. Very special, nice clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1910 maker - Sydney & Co. (partners Judah, Albert and Lionel Ahronsberg of Powell Street and Summerhill Road, Birmingham, respected silver smiths of the period. They are in fabulous condition, with only one small ping to the base on one holder they are sure to delight the most discerning of buyers and will look amazing on a special seasonal table or intimate Christmas lunch!
