Wonderful! This is such a charming set, carefully preserved in its original silk lined box - dating c. 1930, it consists of two oval brushes, a rectangular bevelled mirror and a small ivorine comb - the brushes and mirror are backed in a fabulous (faux?) butterfly wing design, reverse painted and depicting a crinoline lady sat in a garden amongst the trees - the colours are exquisite each one has a soft clear celluloid covering - the comb has a delicate gilt and morpho blue paint design - (the brushes are c. 3.3/4" inch long and the mirror is c. 4" inch x 2"inch - the box itself is in good order, in a blue colour, showing very minor signs to the exterior commensurate with age - very sweet and in super condition this is a vintage vanity set at its very best - sure to delight the most discerning of buyers! - Dont miss this little beauty!!
