A French four glass mantel clock. Bevelled glass panels with opening front and rear doors. Lovely coloured enamel to the base and case top mouldings. An enamel dial with gilt hands and chased floral decorations around the numerals. A mercury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong by Marti of Paris. Circa 1900.
