Description

A 1950s Smiths De Luxe wristwatch. A rare black dial, in a gloss finish. Slim steel hour markers, each topped with a small lume dot. 'Smiths De Luxe' and 'Made in England' is printed within the finish in a contrasting off-white colour. The hours and minutes are indicated by slim steel hands along with the classic Smiths signature of a red tipped seconds hand.

A base metal case body with a chromed finish, showing some signs of loss in the normal areas - as is often the case with watches of this period. A slim overall design, with tapered lugs. A stainless steel case back.


The watch is powered by a 17 jewel Smiths caliber 27.CS. Circa 1950s.
