Description

A 1969 Omega De Ville wristwatch. A silvered dial with a brushed finish. Applied hour markers of a rectangular form, each with a black fill and a champfer towards to edges. Signed to the dial 'Omega De Ville' and 'Swiss Made' to 6 o'clock. A date aperture to 3 o'clock with gilt framing. Slim form 'pencil' markers indicate the hour and minutes.

A well shaped case, similar to the larger 'helmet' style cases of the Omega chronographs of the period. A one piece 'unicoc' case with a flat back and sloped bezel. A gold capped 20 micron finish. Case reference 166.051. Original Omega winding crown and Omega 'perspex' crystal.


The watch is powered by a 20 jewel, automatic Omega caliber 1002 mechanism, with quick date setting. Serial numbers date this watch to 1969.
