Description

A 1960s Certina President gold filled wristwatch. A highly detailed dial, with a linen effect dial finished in light brown. Applied gilt hour markers, doubled at 12 o'clock. A day-date aperture to 3 o'clock, surrounded by a gilt frame. Applied Certina logo to 12 o'clock, with a white script for the make and model. The hours and minutes are indicated by slim gilt hands.


A good quality, gold filled case of an oversized design. The case body has soft, sloping edges to the lugs and edges. A stainless steel screw down case back. Signed to the inner 'Certina Watch Corp'. The watch has retained its original Certina winding crown.


The watch is powered by a 28 jewel caliber 25 652 Certina, automatic mechanism. Circa 1960s.
