Description

Rare Soviet Union nightlight in plastic commemorating their successful space programme. Originally launched in 1971 and given to dignitories, VIPs etc. as they were expensive items for the ordinary people of the USSR to purchase. This lamp was made around 1980.
Plastic casing has tiny nips in places along the vertical ridges. There are some very small chips to the base in a few places, but nothing considered serious. The rocket itself we think is chrome plated zinc and is in good condition . Where it joins the plastic, it has become detached in previous times and has been re-glued.
The lamp works from 220v supply and comes re-plugged.
