Description

For recovering: this charming daybed /chaise from about the William IV period,(1830 - 1837).
Has lovely carved walnut feet, the front pair having the sabre swept style typical of the period. One of the front legs has had sympathetic restoration over the years. The original castors were missing so we have added these ceramic wheeled castors which are Victorian originals.
Appear that the upholstery was re-done some 30 years ago - all the springs and webbing are good so will only need tidying up and recovering. There is no evidence of woodworm. The frame is solid and tight.
Length 135cm overall, 62cm width, Height to top 77cm, height to seat at maximum point 40cm
