Description

A rare pair of cupboards in English oak made by the ex-mining community of Brynmawr ,Wales. The Gwalia works was set up in 1934 to give training and employment to ex-miners,having lost their jobs due to the depression and continued to late 1939, with the outbreak of. WW2.

These cupboards have been restored and wax finished.
