Description

Zenith solid 9ct yellow gold full hunter pocket watch dating to the mid 1920s and measuring 49 mm in diameter.

White enamel dial signed 'Gunn-Russell, Edinburgh, Zenith, Swiss Made' with black Arabic numerals, blued steel spade hands and subsidiary seconds dial. In excellent condition having no hairlines or chips.

Solid 9ct gold, plain polished full hunter case made by Dennison bearing full hall marks for Birmingham, 1925. The sprung front cover opens when the crown is depressed and bears a personal inscription 'Presented To J P Walker by T. Bell & Son Ltd 1926' to the inside. The back and inner dust covers are plain polished with no inscriptions. All the covers open and close as they should and the hinges are good. The overall condition of the case is excellent having no dings or scratching of note. There are a couple of very shallow flat areas on the band.

The crown wind and set, jewelled gilt movement signed 'Zenith' with the serial number '2537830' and having a micro regulator. In super condition and working order keeping very good time for a vintage/antique timepiece.
