Description

A good quality early 20th Century brass and cut glass adjustable hanging hall lantern. The top having cherub head decoration with the cut and acid etched glass shade below. The base with a pierced brass cap and laurel wreath ring pull for lowering the light fitting. The mechanism consists of 3 brass chains which allow the light fitting to be lowered. The chains can be shortened to allow the lantern to sit closer to the ceiling but the maximum height is 36''/91.5cm. Diameter of glass shade - 8.5''/21.5cm. More photos available.
Complete with ceiling rose. Please note this item is sold as a collectors item and should not be connected to the mains electricity supply without first being checked by a qualified electrician.
