A charming watercolour portrait of a young Victorian girl leaning on a stool and standing on a Persian carpet with draped curtain and Etruscan style vase. Framed with an arch topped swept frame within an ornate gilded frame and set inside a glass fronted rosewood case. Inside the back of the case is a handwritten label stating- "Portrait of Julia Anna Bright by Mrs. Mary Green nee Byrne. Dated 1845" the month is unclear. See Photo. Sizes- Height...14.5''...36cm.
