An unusually large and impressive beam weighing scale. The steel beam marked from 0-10 with smaller divisions and sliding brass and steel balance weight.
The large brass pan has 3 rod and chains with shaped supports and joined by a good stylised dolphin. Various impressed stamps/marks on the steel beam including ''Venti'', "R.J.Jol" and many stamped numbers (possibly weights and measures testing). Probably French or Italian.
