An attractive and unusual solid silver lamp base by Edward Hutton. The assay date letter "O'' for London 1889. Good quality weighted base with a wonderful and original " air trap " satin glass shade and clear glass chimney. The silver plated burner marked Hinks and Son, Birmingham with signs of wear,due to cleaning. In good working order if needed. Max.Height...11.25''...28.5cm. Max.Diameter...3.5''...8.75cm.
