An interesting early 19th. Century Chinese tea caddy or tea box. Contained within the original black lacquered wooden box is the pewter caddy with a coat of arms for Charles Marten and Bramah lock (no key). The caddy having an engraved lid with 3 Chinese characters within scrolling foliage and carved bone pull. The whole in good original condition. Dimensions:- Height…8.25’’/ 21cm. Width…14’’/ 35.5cm.
