A large figured camphor wood late 19th. Century campaign travelling trunk with protective brass straps, corners, escutcheon plate and copper edging. The lid lifts to a storage area and each end has brass carrying handles. The trunk benefits from dovetailed joints and is an ideal size to be used as a coffee table.
