A stunning early 19th.C. English satinwood and inlaid side cabinet. The wonderful satinwood rectangular shaped top having canted corners with kingwood, tulip wood, boxwood inlay with ebony & boxwood chevron inlay. The frieze with alternate satinwood and kingwood veneers leading to a full width mahogany lined drawer with good quality brass swan neck handles and centred with swags of marquetry flowers and ribbons. Below are 2 cupboard doors with conforming inlay and unusual painted panels with classic romantic scenes and shelved interior. The sides having conforming satinwood with banding and inlay. The whole raised on square tapering and inlaid feet. Complete with working locks & keys and in very good original condition. Dimensions:- Height…35’’/ 89cm. Width…37’’/ 94cm. Depth…18’’/ 45.5cm.
