A useful and generously proportioned Georgian style Gainsborough desk chair.This handsome English armchair has a mahogany frame and retains the original hand dyed green leather upholstery with brass studded edging. The square moulded front legs joined with “H” shaped stretchers, with conforming padded open arms with patrae carving. The chair is in very good condition, the mahogany frame has been re-polished in our workshops and the leather has been cleaned and waxed. Dimensions:- Height…38’'/ 97cm. Seat Height…17’’/ 43cm.
