A large and good quality 19th Century mahogany partners pedestal desk. The rectangular cross banded and moulded edge top having a quality inset hand dyed leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling. One side having 9 graduated and mahogany lined drawers and retaining the very good original brass pulls the reverse having 3 conforming drawers and 2 cupboards which open to dividing uprights. The whole raised on off set plinth bases with hidden castors below. This desk is wonderfull condition, with no splits to the pedestals, mahogany lined throughout and with working brass locks and keys. Ready for use in the home or office.
