Description

A good quality 19th Century metamorphic oak buffet or dumb waiter. The rectangular shaped top having a carved edge above the carved scrolling frieze. The top shelf lifts and the lower shelf falls to reveal 3 useful serving tiers. The whole raised on two end supports with “C” scroll carved legs and lion’s paw feet with hidden casters and united by a turned stretcher. This can be used as a normal side table or converts to a three tier buffet, lovely colour and in excellent condition. Circa 1860. Dimensions:- Open Height…43’’/ 109cm. Closed Height…33.5’’/ 85cm.
