A set of eight Regency mahogany sabre leg dining chairs, consisting of six side chairs and two elbow chairs, the inset top rail having moulded detail above the carved and pierced centre rail. The armchairs having reeded scroll arms. The drop-in upholstered seats having old worn fabric and the chairs are all raised on sabre legs with reeded decoration and strengthening cross stretchers. The chairs are in used condition with one or two bumps associated with age and use, two of the side chairs have old repairs to the back of the centre rail (see photos of the rails).
