A good quality early Victorian figured mahogany secretaire chiffonier. The top section having a carved and scrolling upstand above the narrow shelf which is supported by carved “C” scrolls. The beautifully figured top with moulded edge above the secretaire drawer which opens to reveal a well fitted interior consisting of 8 pigeonholes, 2 drawers and a baize lined writing surface. The 2 arched panel doors open to a shelved interior and is flanked by moulded stiles with the whole raised on a plinth base.
