An unusual and good quality Edwardian mahogany and inlaid moving interior bureau. The top having a three quarter gallery with boxwood stringing above 2 satinwood cross banded drawers. The fall with further satinwood inlay and Bramah lock with key. The interior slides forward as the fall is opened and reveals a well fitted interior with stationary compartments, original ink pots, note pads, original leather blotter and an ivorine label “BEST LONDON MAKE”. Below are 2 drawers with inset satinwood banding, good quality brass handles and Bramah escutcheons.The whole raised on square tapering out swept legs with boxwood stringing.
