Description

An Art Nouveau, Sterling silver nurses belt.
The belt is in good condition, comprising of 20 parts (18 segments and both parts of the buckle), decorated with a floral design.
It is hallmarked for Arthur Johnson Smith, Birmingham, 1907, all parts are hallmarked, as would be expected.
Mounted on a blue, elasticated belt, it measures approx 70cm (27 1/2 ins) in length. The buckle measures approx 7cm (2 3/4 ins) high, each silver segment measures approx 3.5 by 3cm, and the elasticated belt is approx 2.5cm (1 inch) wide.
