Description

Brass and copper lamp that would have once been fitted to a ship now converted to be used indoors. Originally this would have housed a single, large bulb but now has a lamp holder to take a bayonet fit light bulb. We think it looks best when an old fashioned filament bulb is fitted creating a great mood lighting feature.

Lots of character and evidence of its previous working life, dinks and dings to the casing, traces of verdis gris and the thumb screw to the cage locates but doesn't fasten anymore......however we feel this is all immaterial, it's a great object, practical and displays well.

Fitted with a black plug and 2.5m of old fashioned style black twist cord
