Pair of Chinese Bamboo (Bitong) Brush Pots

Description
A fabulous pair of Chinese brush pots dating to the later part of the 19th, early 20th centuries.The bamboo deeply carved with scholars within a pagoda and woodland setting. Both display a great colour and would make wonderful yet practical display items.
As is most common to these items some cracking to the surface however none of these have transferred to the inside. Each pot has two drill holes to the back possibly where a Mount of some description has been removed however, again these do not transfer to the inside.
