C Summers was ten years old when this sampler was completed, probably around 1800-20. Using coloured silks, it includes an alphabet, a band of running foliage, a fruit-laden basket flanked by a pair of birds along with a pair of collared dogs on a horizontal band, below which is added the name and age of its creator. What we love about this particular sampler is its size, a mere 10 x 12 cms.Havard & Havard are committed to holding high standards of practice and thus enable you to have complete confidence in your purchases.

All items purchased from Havard & Havard are covered under the Distance Selling Regulations, which give all buyers the right to cancel the purchase within 7 working days after receipt of the item, for a full refund less RETURN transport costs.
Shipping information
We deliver within the UK, Europe and Internationally, and carry out most local deliveries ourselves. Delivery costs are dependent on each individual item.
For Europe and International deliveries, we only work with reputable and trusted shipping handlers and couriers who we know will deliver items safely to your home and will offer a competitive and fair price.
If using a delivery company of your own choice, please ensure that they are experienced at moving antique furniture and are covered by insurance.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE -
For customers purchasing from outside mainland UK, shipping costs are given as an estimate only. We endeavour to give the most accurate price, but in some cases, shipping can incur additional charges, such as import duties. As such we will contact all international customers by either e-mail or telephone, when an order is placed to clarify delivery quotes.
Any additional local taxes and surcharges applied when the item arrives at its destination are payable by the customer.
