1484 - Set of Four Rosewood Dining Chairs.
An attractive set of four Indian Rosewood Chair with balloon type backs. With carved and shaped top and centre rails with Anthemion motifs. The underside to the seat rails have unusual and decorative carved frieze which is reminiscent of a colonial design. Which we consider these chairs to be of “ Anglo Indian “ dating from about 1850.
The seat rails have been expertly re-railed in beech. In a very good condition with no breaks.
Height 32" or 82cm
Width and Depth 18" or 46cm square
Although they are newly upholstered we can re-cover in customers own fabric if desired at £30 each
