A charming late 19th century Grand Tour Egyptian faience shabti of small proportions on an Italian marble base.

The shabti boasts crisp features throughout with a naturalistic facial expression and hieroglyphics to the body. The whole is coated in a turquoise glaze. The shabti sits upon an Italian marble base which has been historically hand whittled to fit the piece.
