Description

An outstanding pair of very substantial 20th century gilt metal candelabra in the neoclassical style.

Each candelabra has a putto candle snuffer to its top holding aloft a mask surrounded by seven branches each in the form of a mythical winged creature. The fluted column terminates at a foliate design, all above three monopedic mythical creatures.

There are some signs of wear, namely some wear to one of the fluted columns (presumably from handling from one location to another), and there is some tarnish and oxidisation to areas. Generally both candelabra remain in a good condition.

An extremely striking and attractive set.
