Description
An oil on canvas titled 'A Pleasant Journey', signed and dated to the lower left and verso 'W. P. Cartwright, 1880'.The work depicts a woman walking down a country lane with a young girl in a wooden wheelbarrow with a young boy alongside. The work remains in a very good condition throughout, and is housed in a period gilt frame which has some light signs of wear but generally remains in a very good condition. The whole displays very well.
