An unusual early 20th century chalkware table-top statue depicting Santo Nino of Malitbog, after the famous 300 year old Santo Nino figure of Malitbog, Philippines.The crown and staff are formed of a gilt metal and are removable. There is wear commensurate with age throughout which has created an attractive age-worn patina. A portion of the little finger on the staff hand is absent, otherwise the piece is complete.
A very decorative piece.
