Description
A charming 19th century silver plated armadillo double inkwell.The inkwell is substantial, weighing nearly 1 kilogram. The armadillo's features remain crisp and the hinged back opens and closes with ease. The interior is lacking and there is some light wear commensurate with age to the base, namely some pitting. Nonetheless the piece remains very attractive.
