Description
A 19th century oil on board by the circle of Oluf Simony Jensen (Danish, (1864-1923), depicting his work 'Letter From America'.The work is very well executed boasting exceptional detail and use of colour. The work has craquelure throughout and a small area of paint loss to the top left. An indistinct signature can be found to the lower right.
The work is housed in a period gilt frame which shows signs of wear commensurate with age but remains attractive.
