Description
A charming sterling silver and blue guilloche enamel compact, fully hallmarked for Adie Brothers Limited, Birmingham, 1936.There are signs of wear commensurate with age, most notably a small amount of wear to the enamel at the top right of the compact (where the index finger would have been to hold the compact steady when using the mirror) and the mirror glass shows some age tone. The central enamel RAF emblem remains intact and the compact opens and clicks shut as is should.
A lovely example.
