'The Rise Of The Dutch Republic: A History', by John Lothrop Motley, published by George Routledge & Sons, London in 1880.Octavo. The boards bound in tanleather with gilt borders to both the boards, edges and spine. The boards show some rubbing to the extremities but are firmly attached.
Marbled page edges and endpapers. Ink inscription to the front flyleaf dated 1880. All pages are clean and bright.
