Description

This is a rectangular Arts & Crafts Copper Cigarette Box with a oak lined interior of waisted form. The Copper Lid has stylised hearts in each corner and is of riveted construction.

The Box is believed to have been made by J&F Pool Hayle Cooper (previously The Cornish Hand Wrought Cooper Company of Hayle Cornwall but the box is not marked).

The Box measures 225mm in length x 125mm width x 85mm high.

The metalwork of the box is in good condition with some minor loss to the timber at the rear left. (images available)
