This is a Stunning George III Helmet Shaped Silver Cream Jug with engraved decoration.

Made by Silversmith William Sutton and Hallmarked in the London Assay Office in 1789 including duty mark.(see below)

The Cream Jug weighs 104g and measures 51m x 51mm across the base
155mm to top of the handle x 140mm to top of spout and 58mm diameter across the body.

The cream jug is in good condition with no dents or splits but with a couple of shallow bruises. The London Hallmark letter for 1789 and 1809 are both O and very similar I believe this hallmark to be O from 1789.
