This is a small 19th Century Watercolour study of children by RA Artist William Parrott 1813-1869. The inscription in the right lower corner records 'Children of Hastings'.

The details on the rear confirm the painting was sold as one of fifty (No 45) English drawings by the Sabin Galleries, 4 Cork Street, Bond Street W1.

William Parrott is well known for his painting of William Turner working on an exhibition painting at the Royal Academy.
