Description
A Georgian Mahogany Shield Back Elbow Chair with Tapestry Stuffover Seat. The Shield Back is carved on the Slats and the legs are square tapered and moulded on the corners.This lovely Chair has had past Restoration but it has been done extremely well and the Chair is very sound.The Tapestry Seat was probably done early 19th cent.The upholstery is sound and not sagging. Date:- c.1790I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
