Circa 1880. Outstanding quality Arts and Crafts influence burr walnut three-section low, open bookcase. The top in mirror-matched burr walnut with beautiful figuring, canted sides and double breakfront sections, ebonized moulded fore edge, above a simple gilt carved frieze. Three open bookcase sections, each with two adjustable shelves flanked and separated by Arts and Crafts style pilasters with ebonized and ring turnings. All supported on a breakfront base.
