Circa 1860. Attractive Victorian ormolu-mounted burr walnut ladies’ freestanding writing desk. The shaped top with moulded walnut fore-edges, satin wood and boxwood cross banding, and burr walnut with a central green leather writing surface with a hidden frieze drawer in burr walnut and shaped skirt at the sides and back. All supported on bold cabriole legs with ormolu mounts and sabots. Lovely colour and patina.72 cm High x 110 cm Wide x 62 cm Deep
